The 2014 Chief Minister’s Northern Territory History Book Award recognises the most significant historical book on the Northern Territory, published between 1 January 2013 and 31 December 2013. The Award winner will receive $1000.

Entries for 2014 have now closed as published books needed to be received by Northern Territory Library by 1 April 2014.

The Chief Minister’s Northern Territory History Book Award was established in 2004 and recognises the most significant book on Northern Territory history published in the preceding year.

The annual Award, administered by the Northern Territory Library, celebrates the contribution that the writing of Northern Territory history makes to the cultural and intellectual life of the Territory.

The Northern Territory Library is the custodian of the documentary history of the Northern Territory, and aim to promote excellence in scholarship and research.
