The Chief Minister’s History Book Award recognises the most significant historical book on the Northern Territory.

Entries have now closed for the 2013 Award. The winner will be announced at a ceremony at Parliament House on 1 July 2013.

The annual Chief Minister’s Northern Territory History Book Award celebrates the contribution that the writing of Northern Territory history makes to the cultural and intellectual life of the Territory.  It is open to books published between 1 January 2012 and 31 December 2012.
The Northern Territory Library are the custodians of the documentary history of the Northern Territory, and aim to promote excellence in scholarship and research.

Congratulations  to the 2012 winners of the Northern Territory Chief Minister’s NT History Book Award, who were announced at a ceremony at Parliament House on 10 May 2012.
