Parking
Visitors to Northern Territory Library have several parking options (pdf 412Kb). Short term and on-street parking throughout Darwin CBD is metered, with costs ranging from $1 to $2 per hour.
The off-street car parks closest to the NT Library are the West Lane and Nichols Place car parks, both managed by the City of Darwin.
The West Lane Carpark is a multi-storey car park with entry via West Lane off Bennett Street. Operating hours are Monday-Wednesday 7am – 7pm and Thursday-Friday 7am - 8pm. Parking is $1.60 per hour with a maximum daily charge of $11.20 and free on weekends and public holidays.
The Nichols Place Carpark is a ground level car park with entry off Harry Chan Avenue, behind the Magistrates Court. Operating hours are Monday-Friday 8am – 5pm.
Parking is $4.40 per day and free on weekends, after hours and public holidays.
