Northern Territory Arts Grants Program

For more information on eligibility, activities not funded, the application, and the assessment process please reference the current NT Arts Grants Guidelines.

Anyone interested in applying for an arts grant is encouraged to contact an Arts Broker at Arts NT to discuss the application prior to submission.

All grant applications to the Northern Territory Arts Grants Program with the exeption of the Regional Arts Fund must be submitted online using Grants-Tracker. Paper-based applications will not be accepted.

Applications to the Regional Arts Fund need to be submitted on the relevant category RAF application form which can be downloaded here.

Northern Territory Arts Grants Description Closing Date

Quick Response Scheme

Supports access to arts and cultural opportunities as they arise, in a flexible and responsive manner.

No closing date

Community Grants

Increases access and participation in the arts for first time applicants, and for applicants from regional and remote areas of the NT, Indigenous, culturally and linguistically diverse and other priority groups including people with disability.

No closing date

Community Festivals

Support established and emerging regional and remote community festivals to develop and present artistic programs and cultural maintenance initiatives in community arts celebrations.

RAF Quick Response Grants

Assists regional artists, arts organisations and communities to take up professional or skills development, or small project opportunities, which would otherwise be unavailable to applicants or limited by the constraints of other funding programs.

RAF Creative Communities (to open 19 June 2013)

Supports applications for the development of:
• arts and cultural activity and participation in the community;
• arts projects that involve the local community;
• innovative and creative ideas with a strong arts outcome, with a well-articulated social and/or economic impact in the community.

Encourages applications that provide opportunities for:
• skills development of locally based artists;
• collaboration and skills development of local community members and/ or arts workers.
